Dr. Rubén González

Professional in constant training, my areas of interest are soft tissue surgery, traumatology, intensive care, anesthesia, orthomolecular medicine and acupuncture as well as Chinese herbal medicine, a field in which he is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree.

In 2002, I obtained the title of Veterinarian at the Rómulo Gallegos University, doing internships in the “orthopedic surgery” and “internal medicine” services at the University of Florida and at Millhopper Veterinary Medical Center, Gainesville. My constant search for training led me to complete a postgraduate degree specialized in small animal medicine and surgery at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) in 2003, obtaining an honorable mention for my thesis on intensive care. It was in 2006 when I obtained the university degree of “specialist in small animal medicine and surgery”, which allowed me to work in different clinics in Puerto de la Cruz and Caracas and teach classes as a practice professor at the UCV, with special mention to my involvement in the first veterinary acupuncture course held at the same university. Training in basic and applied Acupuncture by the Hufeland School, Diploma in Integrative Veterinary Physiotherapy by Global Vet, Neural Therapy and Ozone Therapy, Chinese Phytotherapy. I also have training in management and finance from the EAE business school, training in business management from the Malaga Chamber of Commerce, training in the Lean Method. I have presented clinical cases as free topics at different Andalusian conferences. I was President of the Malaga Association of Veterinarians Specialists in Companion Animals (AMVEAC) from 2018-2023.

Dr. Maryuri Rebolledo Gómez

My professional career in the veterinary field began in 2005 with obtaining the title of Veterinary Doctor at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV). Training in medicine and surgery of Exotic animals, Training in veterinary aromatherapy, Training in Neural Therapy and additionally working in some areas of special interest: dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, ultrasound and oncology.

I have worked for the Small Animal Veterinary Hospital “Dr. Daniel Cabello” from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), where I also completed a postgraduate degree in the Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Specialization program. My subsequent thesis was a monographic investigation on intestinal parasites and zoonoses, in which I obtained an honorable mention. Two years later, in 2007, I obtained the university degree of “Specialist in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery”. Later, I worked as an assistant doctor at the aforementioned Veterinary Hospital, taking part in the first basic veterinary acupuncture course held in Venezuela. My constant commitment to training has led me to take 30 different courses related to this activity. Currently, apart from providing my services in the ICU, I also do replacement consultations in reference centers in the province. I was secretary of AMVEAC from 2018-2023
